HardDoor Kibbles 'n' Bits ~With Gravy!~ ::05.16.08:: The Site...It Grows!!

With all those papers and essays out of the way, it's back to the grind! :D

:04.08: Boxing Promotions Get Promoted
Finally, after all this time, HardDoor finally has a "Boxing Promotions" section in the Link sidebar--far-too-long overdue in my book ( <<; ). Pretty much all of the major promoters are listed, which should go nicely with the rest of the major boxing links. :Fri.05.16.08: Decade's Best -Anime- Listing, Front and Top Right Corner...
The Decade's Best anime feature that kicked off the year also finally sees itself get a spot on the sidebar. I was going to wait until the boxing one came along, but with all of the delays placed on it, I decided to at least let the anime list get some sunshine, as I originally wanted both to appear at the same time. The Decade's Best for boxing will certainly be coming soon, though....

:Fri.05.16.08: Mmm...More (Legally) Free Anime...
The Directory/Guide has been growing quite a bit over time and it continues to do so today, as a bit of a revamp in the listings is expected for later in the day. Nothing terribly major outside of the introduction of yet another FUNimation show with a free episode preview (no complaints here), some tiny reshuffling, and the return of a formerly-"off" site. Hmm...my, what to do with those other stragglers that have just sat there empty and fallow....

:Sat.05.03.08: De La Hoya Defeats Forbes
The Golden Boy looked much like the old Golden Boy of yore when he scored a unaminous decision over the game Steve Forbes in a surprisingly very entertaining bout. No "Flab 'n' Drab" here (a la vs. Felix Sturm), as De La Hoya seemingly stepped out of a time machine from 5+ years ago and appeared fresh and energized as he dominated the match--not in a crushing sense, but in terms of being the better man in the ring all around. Forbes, on the other hand, has no shame in losing to a fit DLH, and his strong showing just might put him in position for some bigger fights in the future. As good as De La Hoya was in this bout, it remains to be seen if it will hold over and translate well against Mayweather come Sept. 20 this year.
