The anime license-a-thon continues at AX '08, though surprisingly, FUNimation has nothing to do with it...
-:Kadokawa Pictures USA Announces Six New Titles For North America:-

A few weeks ago, Kadokawa Pictures USA sent a cease-and-desist letter to a popular anime torrent site concerning a number of properties related to their parent company. More often than not, this usually is a signal that the titles would soon be announced as being licensed by someone. This case did not prove to be the exception, as the subsidiary made known its intention to release some of the shows listed in the letter:
-Coo ~ Our Guardian (Wagaya no Oinari-sama)
-H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~
-Romantica ~Pure Love~ (Junjou Romantica)
-My Heartfelt Sympathy, Ninomiya-kun (Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun)
-Rental Magica
-Spice and Wolf
As they are only a licensing arm and collaborate with distributors to solicit their offerings, no deal has yet been made concerning which entity(s) will be handling said shows, outside of the assurance that they would be "released in the the U.S. soon". Whoever does, though, will have some sizable titles with dedicated followings on hand, especially Spice and Wolf and Rental Magica.

EDIT [07.06.08]: Changed "Good Luck! Ninomiya-kun" to "My Heartfelt Sympathy, Ninomiya-kun" as mentioned on ANN, though the live forum report used the first one. I did see that translation floating around a while back, but I'll just stick to the latter (which is closer to the literal Japanese meaning) for the meantime.
